Course #102: World History

In this course we will explore different styles of universes and how these styles have changed over time. The three basic types of universe (finite and bounded, finite and unbounded, infinite and unbounded) are discussed, as well as various methods of world creation and destruction.

Course #103: Salvation and Damnation: Dealing with Free Will

It's often desirable to give some of your creations free will, but it also makes it very difficult to make sure they ultimately do what you want them to. In this course we will study different strategies for imposing your will on those you have created, including but not limited to types of punishment and reward.

Course #104: Defining Morality

We wish our constructs to behave in a moral fashion, but what may be acceptable behavior among distributed hive-mind beings may be conterindicated in sea-dwelling mollusks and vice-versa, while beings of pure energy have an entirely different set of concerns. In this course we use case studies to work towards a general theory of right and wrong. Time allowing there will also be a brief overview of proven ways to communicate this to your creations, including graven tablets and deity-given flashes of insight.

Course #105: Conflict Resolution

Many deities, either through choice or economic necessity, choose to share a universe with other deities. This can result in conflict, which if not handled properly can result in the partial or entire destruction of the universe. In this course we will study both ways to avoid conflict and ways to resolve it constructively when it occurs.
